These little films are pretty simple but the dialogue is fast and funny and the overall effect is very entertaining and watchable. One thing that is especially good is that it's fun for children and parents to watch together. My daughter now wants to go to an art gallery! (Posted on 08/12/2009)

What I like about these films is that they mix real facts with a jokey style. I had to check that Captain Cook really did discover tattooing in Tahiti and that it wasn't made up! Not great for toddlers as the dialogue is quite fast and full of jokey chat but perfect for my sons who are 10 and 12. Recommended. (Posted on 08/12/2009)

I have home educated my 11 year old son for five years and am always on the lookout for good resources to help me to keep his education lively and interesting. I have all three of the Now You Know DVDs and my son really enjoys them and watches them over and over. They are amusing as well as educational and the length of each characterisation (10 minutes) is just right for all age groups. I enjoy them as much as my son and both of us are eagerly awaiting future DVDs. I would love to see some CDs produced too. (Posted on 07/12/2009)
